Ordered the chicken livers. They were greasy and not good. Tasted like old oil.
The. Chicken strips were tiny though they were referred to as jumbo on the menu. The gizzards weren't even breaded though obviously had been in the fryer. Potato salad tasted store bought. The potatoes and gravy was decent. Won't go out of the way to eat there again.
It's barely better than what you can get at low end gas stations. I haven't ever had non breaded gizzards, that's what they were, but they tasted good. The potatoe salad tasted like the same that you would get from Walmart or Sam's, just more expensive. Potatoes were mediocre, and the biscuits where raw in the middle. We got chicken strips and spicy dippers as well. They weren't so bad - crunchy on the outside and moist in the center, but the spicy wasn't spicy and I could have gotten better at most gas stations. Go once, try it, and then go somewhere better from then on.

So I currently live in Nashville. I have family I see occasionally scattered around West Tn. I ALWAYS make the trip, which is often my favorite part of the trip, to Lees. To a lesser extent our last visit, but more in particular today's visit, I cannot stress my disappointment. They significantly reduced the portion sizes and down to 1 honey mustard from 2. I'm still gonna keep coming, but as my favorite chicken place that I literally travel out of my way for, I'm borderline heartbroken at these changes.
